Unable to change from the frontend

Good morning, I am writing to you because I can not modify an event from the forntend. If I try to modify an event by clicking on the pencil icon for editing, I will not be able to modify it. How can I do.

I am traveling back from a few days vacation with the laptop on my knee in the car so I can't take a more detailed look until tomorrow. Its possible that tonyp may be able to take a look tonight - otherwise we can get this resolved tomorrow.

Hello,

I found the culprit. The plugin:

HTML purifier for Joomla

was stripping the data- attributes out when they are valid and needed for Bootstrap modal windows.

I have disabled this plugin and you can edit events again :-)

Geriant said the problem is the html purifier plugin. Disabling it, the problem is gone. This plugin must be active for site accessibility. Is there another solution?

I have customized the HTML Purifier plugin for you to NOT run on JEvents. I hope that is sufficient enough.

Ok for editing, now it works. But for the future I think the problem will be there again when there is an update to the html purifier plugin. It is possible to make an external modification to the plugin.

Hello,

There is nothing we can do for the html purifier plugin, they are stripping core attributes from content. I would suggest you contact the HTML Purifier developers and ask them for a long term solution.
