Hi,

i am using RSVP PRO and jevents and community builder.

I would like to know if it is possible to add on the attendees lis names a link to their community builder profile.

Like Attendees : John (a link on john's community builder profile)

In your RSVP Pro template you can add a CB Avatar field which will then include the avatar linking to the CB profile page for each attendee.

If the questions are related then you can ask them in one post (with numbering so we can keep track of the questions). We may split the topic if it becomes too involved.

I am really sorry but as a whole newbie at jevents, i don't know where is the RSV PRO template.
I see a template folder in RSVP PRO but it is empty.
Should i create it by myself?

Here are my other questions :

1/ How can i remove the map from the detail page please?
I have just remove that line in the layout :

Is it ok?

2/ How can i remove in the event form the field "access level" please? I would like all my events to have the same access.

=> Should i remove the code in the layout of "edit and event" :

I have the word "avatar" instead.

1. See the demo videos for RSVP Pro here https://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/rsvp-pro - they will explain about session templates etc.

2. Map - if you published your customised layout then removing that code should be enough

3. YEs you can remove the access level in that way (remember to publish the event editing layout) - or you could just hide it with some custom CSS

4. That will be down to your WYSIWYG editot and the CSS from your template - you can probably amend it using some custom CSS. If you need some help please add the URL and login details to the private site details tab below.

5. Is this in the filter module or when editing an event?

6. It should be displaying /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/images/tnnophoto.jpg - do you have such an image on your site?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, really but i am sorry, i am really lost, there are so many parameters...

So i still have questions and issues :

1/ I tried to make some changes, removing the code for access level in edit event but it still there ! I have published the edit event template but it did not change anything on frontpage.
Same for CB avatar that i have added to a custom RSVP pro model for attendees list, not appear.


2/ I don't know why but a lot of options have disapeared from the event form for a basic member. I can see them when i am log in as an admin but not as a member.
The options that disapeared are about attendees, how many attendees, inscriprtion limit time, waiting list...
I would like all member to be able to add an event, edit it, and all events can have attendees by default and the creator of each event can choose how many people can attend to it...
I don"t know why it changed, it used to appear.

The event form was with tabs then was on same page and now same page but without all informations for members.


3/ How can i remove repetition on events to make members create only events that is occurs once without repeat in time.


4/ Picture of the event does not appear on event detail page. i have enable the plugin.


5/ Is it possible to have the list of all events from a city or country when i click on the ciry or the country please?
=> You told me => Is this in the filter module or when editing an event?
=> Me : i would like to be able to click on category, city and fall on a list of all events in that city or this category.


6/ I would like to be able to click on each attendees name and fall on their CB profile so the creator of event can contact them by private messages (UDDEIM)
SO i heva another question also, would it be possible to use UDDEIM to contact all attendees at the same time instead than the email in the attendees manager?


I am sorry for all those questions but it seems i really don't get it and all time i spend on it i still don't understand how to achieve what i need.

I tried to take look but am running out of memory all the time when I try to create an event. Something your site is using a HUGE amount of memory and I can't see what it is.

You are running Community Builder and JomSocial - you should not need both and its probably one of these that is using the memory.

ok - I'm in. In the frontend the event creation works but in the backend I run out of memory. I just realised the problem (you have a VAST number of Joomla users (over 75,000) and there is an event creator lookup that appears in the backend that is running out of memory trying to load all the possible event creators.

1. access level is not visible on the event creation page

2. Check the RSVP Pro permissions at http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/dev/administrator/index.php?option=com_rsvppro&task=params.edit on the 'permissions' tab

3. JEvents config (event editing tab) there is an option to hide the repeating event fields - I set it to hide for you.

4. You need to include the image in your event detail page layout e.g. {{Standard Image 1:JEV_STANDARD_IMAGE_1}}

5. You have configured Managed Locations to use a structured list of country/state/cites but have not created any so your venues have no geographic data associated with them. You should either create a set of cities/states/countries or change this option on the 'more creation options' tan in the managed locations addon. You will then need to edit each of your location entries to specify the associated cities.

6. We don't support messaging via UDDEIM - sorry

Maybe there are some plugins that consume more than others? Like i don't need tags, would it help me getting faster?

1. I'm away with family for a few days over Christmas so don't have access to my development server. I either changed administrator/components/com_jevents/views/icalevent/view.html.php or administrator/components/com_jevents/fields/jeveventcreator.php if you copy them both across it will wort out your live site

4. I'm not sure I understand that the problem is - you can use HTML in the conditional output e.g.

{{Extra Info:EXTRAINFO#<div class='aclass'><strong>Note</strong> Some text</div>%s#No Extra info}}
or use it to control display of other fields combining it with CSS e.g.

<div class="{{Extra Info:EXTRAINFO#hasextra#noextra}}">
More HTML here including other custom fields etc.
</div>

Then depending on if EXTRAINFO has any value you'll get different CSS class on the wrapping div element
