Hi!

I was already a silver member in the past, but since then it's been a long time since I worked with JEvents and its premium addons. However I have a new project where it might fit, so here are some questions about them:

- Is it possible for users (either anonymous and/or registered) to add entries for JEvents Locations and JEvents Managed People from the website frontend? Of course it would need approval from admin to become public. (I'm assuming that JEvents allows it for events).

- Does JEvents (and its addons) suports multi language websites?

- What level does the Social Integration (with Joomsocial/CB) goes?

Thanks!

Hello mmascosta,

Welcome back! :D

Yes this is possible with the Anonymous plugin, but you can set it up so just Registered users can create events.

Yes, But you would need the likes of FLang to translate the text which the user would input.

The Silver Subscription should cover your needs.

Tony

Thanks, Tonyp! :)

I'll probably go with the gold version since I'm interested in the event notification ;)

The essential needs are fulfilled, so now some more "advanced" features:

- When do you think that all the addons will be available for Joomla 3.0? The ones that are not, is it hard to port?

- Is it possible for registered uders to create (and consult anytime) their list of events to attend?

- Do you have any kind of documentation for developers? (i.e., help to create custom modules, etc)

Thanks once again :D

Hello,

You are more than welcome.

We have been working hard on making them Joomla! 3.0 compatible. It's very time consuming with so many different configurations. I would hope within the next Month.

Well registered user can view a list of events available to attend with the creation of a menu item and the User Specific Plugin and RSVP Pro.

As for documentation, yes there is some information about template overrides etc. as well as modifications. But we are more than happy to help with any questions and give guidance.

Regards
Tony

Apart from RSVP Pro all the BIG/complex addons are not Joomla 3.0 compatible. We will work on the simpler addons based on demand so if a gold member needs a small addon for Joomla 3.0 and its not yet done we should be able to turn it around very quickly.

Hello,

They are there. You site is just forcing them to be white.

Can you using Firefox and firebug to inspect and apply a css override.

Some thing like:

.jeventsbody {
Color: #000 !important;
}

It's off the top of my head so might not work but gives you an idea.

I should go with 2.5 version... I prefer to go for the stable one.

I've been having some delays on this project and only yesterday was able to start working on it.

However, I can't see the option to display the month view as list and not calendar. I'm almost sure I saw this option before, or am I wrong?

This project is to be developed on a responsive template, so the calendar table does not fit...

There is a new version of the iconic layout (see http://www.jevents.net/products/club-layoutsthemes) available to club members has an option for a calendar or list layout for the month and week views. Also is flexible width AND switches dynamically from a calendar to a list view when the viewport is too narrow for a tabular layout.

First, I would like to apologise in advance for all the pre-sale questions, but I want to make sure that this add-on really suits my needs. These are the last ones, after some usage (with JEventso only, of course).

- I'll be using JEvents in a project in which I need any user to add content to it (Events, Artists, Locations, etc) from the front end. Is it possible to restrain the information they enter? For example, I don't want to allow users the creates "Event Repeats". Nor inserting HTML on the description (by default, the frontend displays a wysiwyg editor). I also don't want them to choose the access level (all should be public). And so on. Do I have this kind of control? Can I (easily) create this restrains?

- Are there any plans to create a version of the JComments plugin for Joomla 2.5?

Once again, thanks in advance for clarifying!

Regards!

Hello mmascosta,

You can do all that you are asking for there. Most of the constains i.e. no showing access level etc can be done with a simple display:none; on the CSS Class.

Also, we have a JComments 2.5 plugin :) see the free addons downloads area:
