Hi there,

Although you make it quite difficult to understand your product by keeping your documentation away from public access I think I'm getting there by putting some effort. And I have to say it looks like as the most flexible and complete event's extension for Joomla, however by hiding your virtues I can only think that you might be turning customers away who don't have the time to read in between the lines. Just a bit of free feedback here :)

On the other hand I still have some doubts I hope you can help me with:

My scenario is a parent event represented by a single Jevent item with RSVP Pro for managing the registration form. There will be child events (sessions) which are options (extra fields) with a price and capacity whithin the registration form.

I) Is there a demo somewhere where I can see the integration between Jevents and Hikashop? How does this work, once the use completes the RSVP PRO registration form and click proceed, is he redirected to the Hikashop cart?
II) How many items are added to the cart? Just one?
III) How many invoices does the customer get? One from Jevents and one from Hikashop? Which invoice can break down the optional sessions selected? Can it be configured which invoice is sent?
IV) If there are multiple optional sessions in the RSVP Pro form, how many tickets does the
user get? How many QR codes? Can you track assistance on a per session basis ( assuming sessions are just an extra field in the RSVP Form)? Is there an alternative configuration to achieve this?
V) If I had to create a Jevent for each session in order to track tickets, QR codes, check in, etc. Is there a way to bundle together all this events into a single registration form?

Many thanks!

Hello,

Welcome to JEvents!

I'm sorry you feel that way, we have plans to improve the site. But club documentation is restricted for our club members as it shouldn't be applicable to non members.

1) Not at present, but that is exactly how it works. The prices are updated dynamically within the cart for the event by JEvents based on their registration. as you can have multiple prices per event.

2) Just one yes, they can continue shoppping and add more events if they wish.

3) JEvents emails confirmations not invoices, Hikashop will send invoices.

4) IF there are multiple guests their will be multiple tickets. By assistance are you wanting to track if a user requires assistance on a event by event basis? You can export the session list, so you can see who requires assistance.

5) I'm afraid not. You can have one registration template and apply to multiple events. You can also have the form automatically added to each repeat of a repeating events.

Many thanks
Tony
