Hello. I have over 100,000 events on one site that are repeated every year, something like "On this day". When they were created, some of the events were written in such a way that they were not shown every year. How do I edit them all at once without editing them one at a time? Maybe there is a tool or through the database?
Thanks in advance!

That is not trivial.

Are you saying that some of these were created as non-repeating events by mistake?

You may be able to export them as a CSV file and then edit the CSV file to add in the repeating pattern you need and then re-import the events into JEvents

Yes. During the date database, I made them repeat 999 times, once a year, but until I open an event and edit how to display it, it doesn't appear.

The repeats are stored in the repetitions table which is populated when you edit and save an event.

That is why I wondered about using the event Export and import mechanism to simulate this process

I imported, but it doesn't work for me. Everything in the table is correct, but the events are still not displayed until I open them one by one, change from "Number of repetitions" to "Repeat until" or vice versa and save it, and a message pop up that the event will be overwritten.

Can you provide a copy of the export so I can test that secnario? It could be the import is missing some of the standard save functions.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello. Nothing is missing. so far I've fixed it by changing start and end repeat to 2021 through the database, but I probably have to do it again next year. I wish I didn't do it every year.
Have a nice day!
