Hi,
I am considering using JEvents for a Joomla 3.4 site. We have the need to have a calendar with events just for "administrators" and also public events.
1. Is there a way to set events to be visible or not, based on Joomla access levels?
2. What is the best practices method for JEvents to accomplish both private events for certain access level users and public events, without using JomSocial or CommunityBuilder?

Thanks, I appreciate any insight into all this before jumping onto the JEvents bandwagon.

Hello Alaskan,

Welcome to JEvents!

1. Sure can, we fully support the Joomla! ACL.

2. Joomla! ACL is fine, but you can use our User Specific Events Plugin which allows setting events to public / private on creation and if private only the event creator can see it or a user access level which is set to see all events in the plugins options.

Many thanks
Tony
