Hi JEvents Team,

I hope you all are doing well and staying safe. I'm wondering if there is a way to get event times to be displayed along with the events when printing from the "By Month" and "By Week" calendar views? Or is there another easy way to get a printable view of all events in a month that includes the event times? Please note that I am looking for a means for anyone visiting the front end of the site to print such a list.

If there is any other information I can provide to help you answer my questions, please let me know.

Thanks!
Ben

Hello,

When on that view I see the events and times... Can you try and explain what you are seeing vs what you are looking for?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Are you looking on the front end of the site? If I go to https://www.gurneeparkdistrict.com/events/monthcalendar/2021/2, for example, and then print the page the printout does not display the times of each event. Similarly, if I click the print icon on the page and then print the popup no event times are listed. I'm looking for a way to be able to print this page such that the time of each event is on the printout. So the event "Member Lap Swim", for example, that takes place today (Feb. 3) should display "05:00 AM - 03:45 PM" on the printout. Does this make sense?

I want to be able to have these times displayed when anyone goes to the website and prints the page because many visitors to this site apparently print this page out sometimes.

Thanks,
Ben

Hello,

Ahhh ok so you want the times only shown as part of the printout is that correct? If so can you provide super user logins and I'll code that in for you.

Many thanks
Tony

Correct, although the times can still be in the popup/modal that appears when hovering over an event. Nothing should change in terms of the UI/UX of the normal page. Only the printed version of the page should include the times.

Site details have been included. Thank you, Tony!

Guys, it has been 10 days since I sent you the website access you requested and I have not heard a thing from anyone. This is not like your team to be unresponsive. Please let me know what is going on!

Thank you.

Can you take a look at the monthly calendar now? You may need to clear your webbrowser cache.

what I have done is added the event start time before the event which is hidden unless printed.

Is this what you are looking for?

Hi geraint,

Thank you very much for taking care of this. It is almost there in terms of what I'm looking for. Currently I only see the event start time when printing. Could you please have it include the end time as well? For example: "05:00 AM - 03:45 PM"

Thank you.

Once that modification is complete I will have my client review to make sure they are happy with the functionality.

Hi Tony and geraint,

Sorry for the delay. Took a little while to get feedback from the client. They like the customization but asked if you can implement the exact same customization for the week view as well.

If you have any questions or need any further information, just let me know.

Thanks,
Ben
