We are currently using the free version of your product for our village website - <!-- w -->www.stradbrokeonline.org.uk<!-- w -->

We are all complete novices in respect of setting up websites but have learned a lot of the last 6 months or so but are still by no means proficient. However, we would like to make various improvements to the site in respect of the calendar and what’s on page/s and would like your guidance on how best to achieve what we want.
??
1. Moving from one month to the next is somewhat clumsy using the ‘jump to facility’. is there a more elegant way to do this
2. We want to produce a list of forthcoming events without the current limitations of format?? ? In particular the number of events shown and how to add a scroll bar to the list ?
3. We want to produce a monthly newsletter (e-shot) that primarily just lists events for the next month, we might write a short editorial pi ?e?ce regarding a major event/s. Can we easily export a list of forthcoming events for the next month or period of weeks?
4. We would like the facility for ‘authorised users’ to be able to add events to the calendar but we would like to ‘approve’ their submissions before publication ??
?5. The choice of calendar layouts is limited. Can these layouts be stylised without going through the template css ?

Can you please advise if any/all of what we want to do is possible with your product and if so which option/s should we be considering.

Many thanks in anticipation

1. You could try a different layout http://www.stradbrokeonline.org.uk/inde ... 3/-?jE=ext or http://www.stradbrokeonline.org.uk/inde ... lternative which can be configured in the JEvents config.

Also see http://www.jeventsdemo.net/all-events for club layouts like Iconic and Extplus (which can be easily configured to match your colour scheme).

2. See upcoming events module here http://www.jeventsdemo.net/all-events?jEV=iconic and this article http://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ite ... at-strings

3. Several options here - if you use a newsletter addon for Joomla we offer an integration that automatically embeds a list of upcoming events. See http://www.jevents.net/products-new/add ... ntegration

4. This is a standard feature of JEvents - you can either use authorised user mode or the Joomla permission system. See http://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ite ... -7-upwards for more information

5. Club layouts colour schemes can be customised using special config options and then also see http://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ite ... ut-editing for information about customising your event detail, list and calendar views.
