Hi all,

Jevents reminded me that the 3.1-version isn't supported anymore and that v3.2 is the preferred version to be used.
Is there anything special I should know about the upgrade or can I just install the new version from the zip?

Couldn't find any information on this, only for when upgrading from 2.5 to 3.2 or later. 8-/

Dammit, it's still not good. 8-/
The categories disappear when I view the actual calendar overview, but they are visible when I try to add an event.
It this some kind of css-problem somewhere in the overview-view??

Hello,

It sounds like you have set the menu item to restricted categories when viewing the frontend? IS that possible?

Why can't you choose themes?? What happens?

Many thanks
Tony

Not likely. Haven't touched that thing, don't even know where and how to set that.

Nothing happens, whenever I change themes. I always have the theme visible as seen on the first attached pic above.

My bad. Forgot about that you can set the theme in the menu-item as well. Changing the theme there, now shows the categories in the overview-view.

Further testing also reveals it's only the flat-theme that gives the problem with invisible categories, all the other themes, eg geraint, alternative, ext etc work as expected.

Hello,

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing and what you expect to see?

Also, try using the Joomla! default template as a test to see if they then show.

Many thanks
Tony

See attachments below, note the categories-list at the bottom of the screen-shots!

Expect to see this (using ext theme):

But gettting this (using flat theme):

Also, try using the Joomla! default template as a test to see if they then show.

I did, it shows, just not when using the flat theme.

#jevents .chzn-container.chzn-container-single .chzn-results {clear:both;}

To JEvents Admin -> Custom CSS

This will be in the next release.

Many thanks

Hi there I have updated vom 3.1.4.7 to 3.2.21. In the Backend everything was fine but in the Frontend I get now just this message:

I have solved the problem. I had to update the layout-options too. Now it´s fine again. But it´s impossible to show in the list of events an event of the next year.

What do I wrong?

What menu item type are you using?

In your JEvents config - what is the maximum year you have configured in your first tab?

Is that a 'Date Range' where you specify the start and end date?

Is there a URL I can look at?

Yes, it is a date range. And I specify the start and end date. From 2015-07-01 to 2016-01-30 ? But the event in 2016 is not shown on the website.

The url is lutherforum-ruhr.de
