Hi all,
I use JEvents to publish a list of events what is working fine.
But now I would like to seperate passed events from upcoming.
In the first list I want to have only the next events and below there should be a seperate list with the past events (sort descend).
Of course the events should be go from the one list to the other if the event is over automatically.
Is it possible to configure?
Regards
calimero

Unfortunately I do not have many PHP skills so I think I can´t make it . . .
I cannot open the link you sent me because I am not a Bronze Member.

Yes, you need to create a template overrides for the list view.

Basically you need to "capture" the events and check the ones in the past and the ones in the future and show them accordingly. If you have some PHP skills you will see it's not that hard.

Also, please check this documents that might help you:

Best!!

Hi carcam,
thank you for the reply.
I want to use the component view. If I got you right it is not possible with standard configuration settings, correct?
It is a project for a non-profit organisation so unfortunately I don´t have any budget to join the club :-(
But I will give it a try with the template overrides. Don´t have clue how it works but I hope I can make it :-)
Regards

Hi Calimero,
do you want this for a component view or do you think you will be good using Latest Events Module?

If former you will need to create a template overrides. I have done that in the past for my consultancy clients and we could assist you if you join the club.

If you want to use latest events modules, you could just create a couple of these modules that show the events. One for the upcoming and another one for past events, and assign them to your page.

Best!!
