Hi JEventers,

I would like to know how to setup an RSS feed on my joomla website.
The RSS feed must be hooked to my "Agenda" page.
So I can push the Agenda to another site where a feed display module will show my latest events agenda. zenitonline.nl to sterrengids.nl

Can anyone help me on this matter.

Your latest events module can be configured to show an RSS feed link.

Also you could look at the remote module loader - https://www.jevents.net/products-new/ad ... les-loader

Hi Ronald,
in the latest events configuration there is a switch called: " Include link to RSS feed in module" Enabling it, will show an RSS feed link for your events.

Thanks Carcam,

It shows in the frontend but the link of the rss won't work getting an error:
Error
Could not load feed: feed://www.zenitonline.nl/index.php?opt ... &modid=128

Is this a correct link?

I checked the link in a feed reader and it works but

I can't get it to work on this page: http://www.sterrengids.nl/index.php/agenda
* Can you confirm this isn't an setting in Jevents why this won't work on this particular page?

I tried to make it work in a feed display module but it doesn,t work.
Tried another extension just like the one I've on the bottom of the homepage.
KNMI That's also a feed. http://www.knmi.nl/rssfeeds/knmi-rssweer.cgi
So maybe I need .cgi link but I can't get that one out of JEvents

So I searched for what good be wrong in my settings of joomla so I found a post that it could be the Joomla! Security feed module but can't find the module in the administrator tab
Further I looked into the JCE administration > General option news feed is set yes now and it still won't work.

If you have any suggestions your very very welcome

Actually that seems an issue with your Filesystem permissions. Can you please check at your Joomla System info area, that site can write in different folders?

Checked with my hosting company they said al Filesystem permissions are correct
They said : We don't see any reason it won't have to work.

Just a question is there a limit to rss feeds on a site?
