I upgraded my Joomla site from 3.6.5 to 3.9.0.
I was running JEvents 3.2.21 prior to upgrade.
When I upgraded Joomla, I tried to upgrade JEvents to 3.4, but every time I try to upgrade, the message box comes back and says I successfully installed 3.2.21. I tried both uploading the zip file and from the web for version 3.4.48.
When I click the calendar menu button on my site, I get the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot assign by reference to overloaded object in /nfs/c03/h06/mnt/58067/domains/http://staging.institute-christ-king.org/html/components/com_jevents/jevents.php on line 92
How can I get JEvents updated?

How can I get JEvents updated?

Hello Tom,
You can manually download JEvents 3.4.48 and install it via the Joomla! Extension Installer. If that fails then you can get admin tolls from the Joomla! Store and run a permisons fix, then try the install again.
