no longer able to insert an image from the menu

Hi Bill,

Can you insert them in articles? Are you on about the editor? Can you please provide your support info as per 2. of the forum rules. Can you post a screenshot of where it should offer the inserting of images?

Thanks for your reply. After I'd signed off I was thinking that my question might have been a bit vague!
What I'm doing is to enter Jevents from the back end Control Panel. I then select 'Manage Events' and select 'new'. It's from that editor screen that the ability to 'insert', 'image' has vanished.
I'll attach an image showing the current insert drop down menu and I'll paste the 'support info' below.

There isn't an Inset Media from that view in TinyMCE. However, the image button is missing because it's not been enabled in:

JEvents -> Configuration -> Event Editing -> Hide Editor Buttons -> No

I have the exact same problem, with the insert menu no longer showing the image option. I was thrilled to see your fix of enabling the image button but when I go to JEvents -> Configuration -> Event Editing, there is no "Hide Editor Buttons" option in the advanced tab. I did change "Show editors button extensions" to yes in case that was related, with no results. Anywhere else I should look?

Sorry yes you are right re the setting. Once that is done you should see an Image button at the bottom of the toolbar as per:
