Hi,

when I try to edit calendar entries in the frontend, the modal pop-up opens just a white space without showing the editing page (see attached screenshot) I also get a warning and error message as shown in the other attached screenshot.

This issue appears both on m4.cfg-mettmann.de and m5.cfg-mettmann.de with
m4.cfg-mettmann.de being on Joomla ‎5.2.3 and JEvents 3.6.83
m5.cfg-mettmann.de being on Joomla ‎5.4.2 and JEvents 3.6.97

On m5. ... , the other strange thing is that the error message shown in the screenshot shows a calling of an m4 ... page from the m5 ... environment.

Could you give me some hints how to resolve this issue?

Thanks a lot and best regards

Raimund

Hi,

I have found the solution to the issue - a redirect in the htaccess that was created to enable the old logic of using the URL scheme http://www.domain.com/123 to link to Article 123 in joomla, which is by default not possible in Joomla 5. But the redirect actually worked on everything that had number at the end of the url, which is also the case for many addresses JEvents uses. So by introducing an exception for URLs with /layout/ in the address, now I am able to see the edit window in the modal pop-up for creating and editing events again.

So the case can be closed.

Thanks and best regards

Raimund
