I installed jevents for the calendar application and it looks like it might work for us but there is one issue. I have set this up for public to be able to create appointments from the front end and it is working although throwing an error as follows:

First it says "event saved" and actaully does save the event but when I click the ok button it opens the login screen with the following error:
"You are not authorised to create/edit events"

The event does get created I just need to figure out how to disable this error as we do not need anyone to log in

I already have user authorization set to "no"

Please let me know if I am missing something

Thanks much for your help

Hello,

You really shouldn't reduce the ACL permissions down for public to create events. You will face a huge amount of spam events without any recaptcha and no author for the event.

you should use the Silver Plugin:
https://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/silver-addons/item/anonymous-user-event-creation

Many thanks
Tony
