I have the following custom format string in the Latest Events module:

[m:${startDate(%a %b %e %l:%M %p)} - ${endDate(%a %b %e,%l:%M %p)}][!m:${startDate(%a %b %e %l:%M %p)}]

The hyphen in the multi-line condition displays as underline. How can I get it to show hyphen instead?.

Hello,

So - would show as a - within the module unless your template is manipulating it? Can you provide a link?

Many thanks
Tony

The site is locked down, so I've created a user id you can use, in site details. Look at the "coming up" section on the home page.

Huh. Turns out to be a browser issue. It shows up the way I indicated on Firebox but not on Edge; nor does it show up on my wife's computer in Firefox, nor on my Android phone in Firefox or Chrome.

I guess I'll have to dig into my Firefox to see what's going on.

Thanks, Bill

I too have a problem with the hyphen. It turns out that it is a hyphen being shown, but it is displaying half a line low - thus appearing like an underscore. An underscore actually displays even lower. I tried an assortment of characters and got the same result. The screenshot shows an example with the word "to" in place of the hyphen. You can clearly see how it's offset.

The site is live, so I reverted back to the hyphen. Here's the current code for the formatting:
<span class="icon-calendar"></span>${startDate(%b %d %Y)};
<span class="icon-time"></span>${startDate(%I:%M%p)}[!a: - ${endDate(%I:%M%p)}]
<span class="icon-hand-right"></span>${title}

Chrome, Firefox, and Android all are displaying it wrong.

Hello,

We would need to see a link to review? It's like some CSS in your template.

If it works on the standard protostar template then it's some CSS by your template, if you join the bronze club and provide a link we should be able to debug it and provide some custom css for you.

Many thanks
Tony
