Hey there, I'm loving Jevents, but this issue is driving me bananas. I can't update my calendar via ical anymore, it will show that there have been "X" number of events updated and added after running the refresh for the calendar, but there are no events at all in the "events" panel. Any help at all? And I apologize that I have posted about this before, but the moderator did not reply after requesting access to the site. It must have gotten lost in the masses of messages. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Glad to hear you loving JEvents :D.

Do you see the events in the backend under manage events?

Many thanks
Tony

Hey Tony,

No, there are no events there, only items that I have added manually. So I do see the report and the items when I click the update arrows, but nothing gets populated in the events area. Any help would be amazing, this has been going on for a couple of weeks now. Thanks!

Hello,

I have taken a look and the feeds work fine. The problem is the events from the feeds are all in the past. Set hide past to No in your Manage Events. I even checked both feeds and they all contain events going back to say 2007 - 2014.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

That's the problem, the new events are not showing up when I update the calendar. It shows that it is going through all of the entries and when it's done, none of the entries are populated. Maybe try going to the calendar in Jevents and clicking the green arrow to update the entries and you will see what I mean. We have events listed all the way until January of NEXT year, so it definitely isn't a back-dating issue. All events that are listed for this month and next I have added manually. Thanks again for your help!

Here is a screenshot of the calendar feed as Jevents is importing the events for reference. It displays this, and nothing gets added.

Hello,

please read my post. as explained the feed you are importing from has NO future events.

That page is giving you all the relevant information. They are all old events see the 2014 in there?

JEvents is working perfectly. The problem lies with your feed not providing current events.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi again Tony, I created a brand new calendar to test this with ONLY future events. Nothing loads at all. No events in the feed whatsoever. So even with a new fresh calendar, with only future dated events, there is nothing that is being added to events. My feeds did work up until a month ago, and the calendars are still synching to other subscribers.

Thank you again for the help and sorry for the trouble!

Hello Mymstudios,

Can you provide the link of this new calendar you are importing from?

As stated the feed from which you were importing from contained NO future events previously.

Many thanks
Tony

Thanks Tony,

Here are links to the original calendar and the new test calendar. I've attached screenshots to show that there actually are events in the future for both the original and the test. Even though neither is showing that they exist.

Original:

So this one:

http://p07-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe/1/QTTSff5-ozXTK4dbJLKyuIni0OmStklWqNDb3LSkVWtbMjoI9UuxUxQAEQVQ9dMKHXTBLaZsjJ6GiEcJnk9VGIGyIAeSkyW7qytLLduU9Kw

Contains NO Events in 2017. But this one:

http://p46-calendars.icloud.com/published/2/GOvfhJYE1Jc4XjkyPEfxnKmLvZ3d_CYuJuAtD_m0xqgyzXuECuqBmq6lpxMM69teCXLo-zXxApisB_nsH6PR2F0dZjCU81pS2pdcKucxrlg

Only contains one event from this year, which is today. Which is called: test event Jevents

But as it is today the event may show as a past event in JEvents since if the time it occurs has past.

So again, there is nothing wrong with JEvents just your iCal feeds not containing events.

Many thanks
Tony
