My backend language is: danish
Jevents backend language is: danish
I have installed the official danish translation for Jevents.
My front end month calender is (almost) translated and works great.
My front page modules use however english month titles no matter what I try.
What is the problem, how do I fix it?

It sounds like the danish translation has not been updated recently.
You can override these strings with the Joomla! Language Override tool:
https://www.jevents.net/languageoverrides
