We maintain a Joomla with 4 calendars for events of different types for a Swim Team

We use the Latest Events Module and a custom load position to provide an article with the schedule for open swimming activities. These are stored in one calendar with a specific category

We also use the LatestEvents Menu Item in another place in the site to show meets hosted by our club ("Hosted Meets" is that menu item) These are a second calendar and a "Hosted Meets" category

In both, we use the "Display link to the Calendar Component" option, to allow a user to drill thru to the full Calendar

For some reason, when users click thru the "view full calendar" link in open swimming, it takes them to a calendar showing Meets (from the second calendar), although the data appears with gaps (some events from April 2016, then it skips to more recent events) It also shows the title "Hosted Meets", Which you can see is the title of the other module.

Is there some reason that the Events Module would select the wrong data?

Thanks!

In your latest events module can you set the target menu item to match the community swims menu you want to display.

The mixed results are very strange - can you send me the URL and login details so I can see what is going on with the database queries? Put them on the private 'site details' tab below
