Is it possible to have an editor on the add event page? I would like to be able to add images into the event description.
Also,
You can control the buttons within the JEvents Configuration under Event Editing and editor buttons.

what do you mean? By default JEvents load your Site editor so that your event editors can easily add their content according to your site rules. If you do not see the editor at the events edit page (I guess in the frontend) please check your Joomla! Global configuration and be sure you have a default editor set there.
