Hi experts,
today I try to solve a special problem
I created a calenadar only for one category.
It's a category for intenal usage of a sports-department.
I want that it will be possible for department-members to create events only for this category.
The only thing I found is to allow these members to create events for all categories.
I want to avoid that.
Is there any way to solve it?

Hey Berndi,
Ok so you have a few options. Firstly I would suggest you deny them creation rights per category on all other categories.
Second you could use the JEvents Authorised User Mode.

Ok that could be tricky.
You simply enable Authorised user mode in: JEvents -> Configuration -> Permissions
Once this has been enabled, in the JEvents Control Panel you will now see a new button 'Authorized Users'. you add each user into here.

Can you explain why it is not what you want?
Authorised usermode means you need to manually add each user to the authorised user and you can select the calendar/categories they can create in.
