Joomla 5.40
Jevent 3.6.94
I just installed Jevent and when I go to the component I get this message:
Your database collations for JEvents related tables need updating to support more advanced content storage such as emojis in your event descriptions.
Click here to perform this update
We recommend that your database is backed up before you do this.

When I click on it I get this message:
Une erreur est survenue
1253 COLLATION 'utf8mb3_general_ci' is not valid for CHARACTER SET 'utf8mb4'

What should I do?

Thank you

I'm very sorry for the slow response - we've had big problems with the forum software which is no longer supported by the developers :(

Can you tell me what collation your Joomla content table uses?
