After the Update from JEvents 3.1.45 to 3.2.5 the window that appears when you click with the mouse on the editing Symbol does not work. It appears, but the screen is dimmed(including the editing window) and if I want to click on one of the editing options, the window of editing closes.
I've noticed that after updating the message "problem during deleting the edit.xml" or something like that, were shown in the backend.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from germany, I hope you can understand my problem.

Thank you very much geraint, this link to the BT forums solved the issue for me.
As a summary, they have a download with some modified files for BT login, and I had to do the according changes manually because my BT login version is a newer one, but all is working now as expected. Thanks again :-)

If your Bootstrap template is using Bootstrap 3 or loading its own copy then it should provide the facility to strip out the core Joomla Bootstrap library that JEvents it loading.

Hi Pavel, it will be down to a Bootstrap Template conflict and Geraint should be able to resolve it if you have messaged him details.

Many thanks
Tony

Popups flashing and disappearing are caused by 2 copies of the bootstrap javascript files being loaded. You will need to find what is loading the second copy and disable the setting that causes this.

Thx Geraint, you've been right:
I had to prevent /media/jui/js/bootstrap.js beeing loaded by template on the the event-detail page.
Finaly made it with another plugin for JS and Css Control.
Is there a more simple way to prevent a script beeing loaded only with one special page, because it's needed with the other pages?

Hi,
I'm working with joomla 3.6.2, JEvents 3.4.18 and a 3rd-party template using its own jquery-scripts.

Problem: Creating new events in frontend works, but clicking the edit-event pencil symbol only shows the popup-window for a blink, then its gone. Print and Email symbols are doubled.
So it seems to be an issue with loading jquery or bootstrap twice...!?

I figured out, that after taking out /media/jui/js/bootstrap.min.js everything works properly. Unfortunately, small popup menus in the admin-panel doesn't work without this file...
So, how can I solve this in a more elegant way?

Did you test with the default joomla template? Also try without other modules or plugins on the page to be sure it's not a clash.

Also, can you please recheck you are in latest versions?

Hello Andreas,

There is not one solution for all. The usual solution is to fix jQuery conflicts in your sites template.

Please try using the default Joomla! template as a test to see if it works.

Many thanks
Tony

I'm having the same issue on a site using Joomla 3.4.5 and Jevents 3.4 Stable.

I've tried the css suggestions above in this forum. No luck. The site is using Rockettheme Audacity.

Any other suggestions I can try?? Thanks!

Matthewra,

Please do not double post and tag onto other peoples post. I have responded to your other post and requested you open a new topic and the reason this is likely happening.

Solution found for Template JSN Epic, thanks to Anhnh of Joomlashine support.

Add the following code to your template.css or to a custom.css:

.jevbootstrap .modal, #myEditModal.modal{
position: absolute !important;
}

Thanks
Tom
