Hello!
I wantto ask if it is possible to add events from the frontend of the site? Is this task performed by a single module, what is the name of this module, and is it paid bronze, silver or gold membership?

And the second question is to make "add event form" as simple as possible. Ideally in the frontend is to click one single button to add event, ex. "add" button.
There would be only one customised event called "changing tyres" with standard duration of 0,5 hour. And after clicking "add" button this event will be shown in the frontend in the module "latest events".

It would be great if the events shown in the module "latest events" were sorted by hour of operation. Maybe beside "add" button it would be a field "choose hour" etc.

I found tutorial on customising add events form fields by css, but it is only in gold membership.

Please, help me what to do.
Best regards, Mi?osz.

Hello Mi?osz,

Welcome to JEvents!

You can customise the event creation form in:

JEvents Control Panel -> Custom Layouts -> Event Edit Page

This is quite a complex page however, and you will need to pay close attention to the opening and closing sections. See:
https://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/it ... iting-page

For more info.

If registered people are creating events you can do this already by increasing the groups permissions in:

JEvents -> Permissions

Once changed your users should then be able to create events. If you want guests to submit events then please see:

https://www.jevents.net/products-new/ad ... t-creation

For Silver Members.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello!
Thank you for your reply!

I want to ask another question, if it is possible to have link to "add event" in the JEvents Latest Events module in the same way as we can have a link to View Full Calendar?

At this time I can only add events in a Full Calendar view, by clicking small "+" icon in top right corner of each day. I want to simplify that, to open add event form from the JEvents Latest Events module. Is it possible?

Thank you for your reply again, which explained me a lot.

Best regards, Mi?osz.

Hello,

It is possible to achieve that, but it would require a lot of custom programming to adjust the view output.

Thanks
Tony

Hello!

I want to ask another question.
Is it possible to disable "ending time" field in the event adding form, because duration of each event is 0,5 hour, and it is default, so "ending time" is known, and is not necessary to write it down. How to make each new event lasts 0,5 h by default?

And also, how to limit new event start time from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and disable Sunday events?

Best regards,
Mi?osz.

See https://www.jevents.net/docs/jevents/ca ... ng-jevents and read up about template overrides. What you want to do it not straightforward and will require PHP and javascript customisation I'm afraid
