Hi,

I just realised that I cannot access JEvents in frontend and backend anymore after I updated to 3.2.20.
The latest events are shown as well as the calendar view but nothing happens when I click on "show more".
The components are installed (visible in the list of installed extensions) but there is no JEvents Menu item, anymore in the extensions menu.
What is wrong with this installation. All JEvents related components are published.
Does it makes sense to update to 3.4 RC6 to solve the problem?

Edit: Akeeba Backup, Kunena and Weblinks are also no longer available through the Admin-Menu.

Best regards
Onki

Hi Onki,
which version of Joomla! are you using? I remember this was an error in older Joomla! versions and here is a document about this:

https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Insert_err ... rated_data

Check it carefully to see if it applies to your case.

Hi,

I am using the latest Joomla version 3.4.4
I am not sure if the problem came up after I updated to this version.
The missing backend menu items seem not to part of the "menu" table in the database anymore.

Best regards

Hello Onki,

Can you access the JEvents Config? via:

<!-- w -->www.yourdomain.com/administrator/index. ... om_jevents<!-- w -->

And select configure. You will see a merge menu config option? change it and change it back. Hows that work?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

I just installed 3.4RC6 and now I can see JEvents in my admin menu.
I just have to find a solution for Kunena and Weblinks and Akeeba as they are missing in the admin manu as well.
Looking at the database I can see that all mentioned items are no longer in the manu database.

Best regards
Onki

There is a 'rebuild' button in the Joomla menu manager - did you try using it?

Hello Onki,

Also is this site a migrated site from Joomla! 1.5/2.5?

Many thanks
Tony
