Howdy,
I doing some research for a client who is looking to build a Speakers Bureau style site. Because the site will need to manage 30+ speakers schedules I'm trying to find a module that be able to have multiple separate event calendars for each speaker that then update to a master calendar that would have all of the speakers schedules all together on one page. It sounds from the description on the store page it sounds like I might be able to achieve this using the categories function found in jEvents, is that correct? Also can the user permissions allow for users to edit only calendar events within only a certain category?
If this is the case then jEvents sounds like exactly what we need!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, hope you have a great day :)

That looks like a nice project!! Please take a look at our "conference site" demo to see how we can help you show the speakers schedule and information:

Your assumption about category permissions is right, you can setup all JEvents category to have a category administrator which will be allow to edit events on that category. Also you can set up specific ACL for each category so that only certain User Groups can edit on them. Finally if this is not enough fine grained, you can use our User Authorised mode which allows you to set specific permissions user per user on your site.

So I think JEvents will fit perfectly on this project ;)

Best!!
