Hi all, I just noticed that after the latest update the JEvents Latest Events module on my website's homepage is displaying a "No Events" message, although the calendar is full of events. No settings have been changed and everything seems correct.

Even after disabling the template override for the module, nothing changed.

Any ideas?

This is actually the first issue I've had with JEvents after years of using it on multiple websites. :)

Hello,

In the Latest Events Module, please make sure either all including sub categories are selected than you want to include evnets from, or select none for it to default to all.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi, thanks for the reply, please see attached screenshot.
This is already the setup.

It's not a new installation, It was already running flawlessly since last year without any issues.

Can you set to ignore JEvents Filters? Does that help?

Many thanks

Hello,

Can I take a backup of your site so I can debug it locally? It's a bizarre issue.

As a quick fix, you can set it to show 2 events and it will show only 1.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony, please use Akeeba Backup (I just installed it) to produce the desired backup file.

Thanks for the quick fix, it worked nicely.

Please let me know when you know more about the issue.

I'm running a backup, although now it's showing two events... Which means it looks like the condition is checked/met again. It is very strange, I'll try and replicate it on my machine with your backup.

Many thanks
Tony

Just readjusted the module to display 1 event and now it looks ok again.
I really can't wrap my head around this, please let me know if you find the root of the issue.

Best regards,
Alex

We are having the same issue, what was the fix? Something we can try to apply on our end?

As a result of this issue are you having one less event displayed or none at all?

No events are showing when there are at least 4-5 coming up.

I haven't been able to recreate this yet, I fear it has something to do with your current setup. I'm just at JAB so struggling to look into this right now. I'm just generating another backup and will try to look into it as soon as I get some downtime here.

Many thanks
Tony

I'm back home now, can you confirm if you have noticed a way of re-creating the issue?

Its the strangest thing. I have tried every setting change in the module and still nothing shows. Not sure if there is an issue since we run on IIS from the most recent updates. Can I roll back to an older version?
