Hi,

I've been using JEvents for years and never run into this problem <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->

I have a weekend retreat scheduled for the end of February and have selected the
"All day Event or Unspecified time", but the module is displaying a time of 12:00AM I have looked everywhere to try get rid of this time (see screen shot).

The default code is below and according to your docs it should NOT SHOW a time for events that have unspecified time selected---I am running Joomla 3.2.

Please advise as soon as possible. A lot of people are obviously getting confused by the 12:00AM time.

Please help!

Hi Kosi,
you are using the [i:1dvocj1l]a[/i:1dvocj1l] modifier that applies to events that happen the whole day. For events that have no specific end time you should use he [i:1dvocj1l]e[/i:1dvocj1l] modifier.

Hi Carcam---

Sorry, but your response does not address the issue. This is for the latest event module. It shows all events and some events do have an end time. The way this suppose to work is for all day events the time should not display at all.

If I were to use the e modifier that your suggest. I would lose the end dates for other events.

Please address the real issue here.

Tx.

Hi Kosi,
I'm sorry if I did not correctly understood your point.

You need to use a combination of the a condition. Something like this should work:

${title}
[a: ${eventDate(%a %b %d)}][!a: ${eventDate} - ${endDate(%I:%M%p)}]

You can check all the avilable options for the module Custom Strings on this document:
