Hello all!
I wish to ask about the JEvents Custom Module:

In events in certain JEvents Categories, I wish to have a custom module as part of the event description.
For example:
For all events in a JEvents Category "ABC", below the Description box in the event detail page, it displays an extended message "EFG" as part of the descriptions.
I've tried to follow the instructions in the docs but was feeling I'm nowhere near. (e.g. I don't have anywhere to subset the event categories).
Does anyone know if JEvents Custom Module is the go-to place for my query?

I think you may have this backwards - the idea of the JEvents custom module is to show part of the event details in a separate module on the page e.g. you may want the location details to appear in the right hand column of your module.
Do you want this or to show a normal Joomla custom module within the event details page for events in certain categories?
