Hi Everyone!

Something strange is happening to the start and end dates of the events .

For example, in a 4-week event, every Thursday , the start date is not fixed and the end date is four weeks ahead. Follow the images.

<!-- ia1 -->start-end-date1.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:3j30vf1f]
<!-- ia0 -->start-end-date2.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:3j30vf1f]

Can someone help me?

Thanks a lot!

Hello Tia Tieko,

Please can you post your JEvents Support Info as per the Rules up top.

I suspect you need to update to JEvents 3.4

Many thanks
Tony

I just tested this on an old installation of JEvents 3.2.20 and I don't see this problem.

I see

From : 2014-12-18 11:00
To : 2015-02-15 15:45

That second screen shot definitely relates to that repeating event? As well as the dates being strange it isn't showing any times suggesting it is an all day event (which is not what you edit page shows).

What do the individuals repeats show?

Hi Geraint

I´m sorry, I had enabled the option "All day Event or Unspecified time" and hid the time.

But my question is the end date:

First screen:
End date: 2015-01-16 / Repeat until: 2015-01-16

Second screen:
To: 2015-02-16

Why does it happens? A difference in one month ?

Hello Tia,

It should be a difference. Can you PM Geraint super user logins to replicate the error?

Many thanks
Tony

Second screen:
To: 2015-02-16

Your event is one month long and repeats weekly for a month so the end date of the last repeat is going to be in February. i.e. your repeats all overlap each other.

Hi Tony, Geraint

I think I got a way to fix. I setup:
start date:2014-12-16
end date:2014-12-16
reply until: 2015-01-16

And it´s ok:
<!-- ia1 -->end-date-ok.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:1pfnfame]

But I want to put the "first repeat date" on the frontpage and it does not appear on the first day ??? It is a blank space. On the other days it´s ok.

Follow the setup screen:
<!-- ia0 -->first-repeat.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1pfnfame]

Thanks

Tia

That is the correct way to enter the event :)

FIRSTREPEATSTART is a link to the first repeat which is not needed on the first event itself.

Try something like

{{First Repeat Start:FIRSTREPEATSTART#<strong>Inicio: %s}}
or
{{First Repeat Start:FIRSTREPEATSTART#<strong>Inicio: %s#Today}}

Did you try the second? This will output the ext 'Today' if you are viewing the first repeat. Do you see that?

Hi Geraint

Yes, I did. On frontpage appears "Today". Follow the screens:

<!-- ia1 -->repeat.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:24hzdsvd]

<!-- ia0 -->repeat-front.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:24hzdsvd]

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your patience.

I used the test 'Today' to illustrate what you could use - in your case you may want to use 'This is the first occurance of this event'

Did you look at other repeats to see how it doesn't output 'today' for those - rather it outputs
Inicio: date/time/link to the event
