Hi,
is there a way to hide (or add display: none;) class to a field once the event has passed?
I use custom styling of the events.

A specific field within the event?
There is a custom layout field output you can use
It will add the text ' past' or ' future' to the event detail or list view output so you can use that as a class name to hide your field
