I'm considering purchasing a gold membership, assuming it will lead to ready access of how to do/implement the following:
1) I need JEvents to somehow allow creation of a public event but have a way to add private/hidden notes to that event only viewable to admins (or just manager level).
2) I need a way to format events shown in monthly view so that it will show half-day events as half day, not fully across the day's box. I don't know how else to describe it except to link this as an example:

I am indeed working on a vacation rental site (not the one linked) and thought JEvents could do this, but not out of the box apparently. Basically as stated I need the user to be able to enter a single event that would show the public simply that a day is fully or 1/2 booked (with an appropriate AM vs PM slash as the example) and in the backend allow the user to enter private details about the booking on that same event not viewable by the public.

1. the custom fields addon can have fields where you set the read access level and control who can view that information

Will the events be added to the system by the 'vendor' or the visitor? Would you want to restrict the dates/times available e.g. only whole week long events etc.?
