I have a very old website Joomla 1.0(2006) using Jevents Version v1.4.3 RC2 :( (I know I shouldn't ... ) and a new one using JEvents v3.4.39 Stable.
Is there an easy way to export the existing events from the old site and import them in the new one?
(Maybe a (paid) conversion tool? Or phpmyadmin?)

Hello!

Wow that's going wayyy back. So Can you try creating a menu item, and see if there is a JEvents iCal Export one?

Many thanks
Tony

I can create a menu item Menu Item :: Component [ Events ] with parameters specified and additional categories, but I can't find a JEvents iCal Export menu item, unfortunately.

Options for New Menu Item are:

Content
Blog - Content Category
Blog - Content Category Archive
Blog - Content Section
Blog - Content Section Archive
Link - Content Item
Link - Static Content
List - Content Section
Submit - Content
Table - Content Category
Miscellaneous
Separator / Placeholder
Wrapper
Submit
Submit - Content

Link - Contact Item
Link - Newsfeed
Table - Contact Category
Table - Newsfeed Category
Table - Weblink Category
Links
Link - Component Item
Link - Contact Item
Link - Content Item
Link - Newsfeed
Link - Static Content
Link - Url
* Note that some menu types appear in more than one grouping, but they are still the same menu type.

Then I am afraid it's not possible out of the box to do it given how old the system you are using is.

Is it just the events you need? We could quote for doing an iCal Export script for you.

Many thanks
Tony

I just need to grab the old events and put them in my new site. Any export script would be very nice if it writes into something the new version can read :-)
