The header which is shown above the main (monthly) calander is also shown when clicking on an event cell/date inside the monthly calander.

How to adjust??

Many thanks for your reply,

Attached a picture (monthly calander) showing the montly calander with in the header some phrases/an explanation to the visitor which was created with an overide.

When clicking on an event inside the monthly calander this header is again shown which is not required/wanted - picture event detail

Your version of JEvents is very old - you should upgrade to JEvents 3.2.15

Meanwhile upgraded to the newest version

Unfortunately that does not solve the issue I reported earlier.

Is that a custom HTML module or something you added to a template override?

This is an override on JEV_EVENT_CALENDAR in order to show the header above the calander but - as you will understand - I do not want to have this header shown when clicking on an event for futher details

Hello,

You can remove this by setting it to hide altogether in the JEvents Config (Show Headline).

Then customise the menu item to show the page heading.

Many thanks
Tony

Great idea but unfortunately header will only show in capitals (h1 tags)
Can JEvent also be used via a plugin inside an article using the code {load position..} ?

That is how it should be set, H1 as it is the main heading for the page. It is like this for SEO purposes.

Not it cannot, but you can include custom modules on our pages. See:
<!-- w -->www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questi ... in-jevents<!-- w -->

Thanks

so concluding:

1. Can show the details of an event out of the monthly calander without the (content of) header which I placed on top of the monthly calander.
2. When I want to show a header on top of the monthly calander this can only be done in capitals
3. plugin of JEevent is not availailable (lo load via {loadposition..}
4.What I want with the header is explaning (in writing) to the visitor that he can filter on catagory and that by clicking on an event he gets more details (proivided the event has that content)
5. Understand there is an alternative to show the header (as per 4 above) by making a new module (type ?? - JEvents Customs module?) with a position x but there is that position to be placed?

1. Yes by creating a JEvents Event Detail Menu Item.

2. No, that is down to your template. You need some CSS to adjust this.

3. Correct. You can load a JEvents Module like the latest events module, or a mini calendar module with the {loadposition

4. So add a custom html module to one of the many custom JEvents Module Positions explained in the link I showed you above.

5. Explained in the Link in my previous message.

Thanks
Tony

So far no success in getting this solved.

To narrow down my request:

I want to show a few lines on top of the monthly calander to explain to the visitor how it works and I got this in place/working fine (with a languyage override in Joomla)

H o w e v e r when a visitor clicks on an item in the monthly calandar it shows the info of that event but a l s o the few lines I referred to here above.

To me the header lines should not be maixed with the event details

To show a 'few lines' on top of the monthly calendar:

Create a Joomla! Custom HTML module and place it in the position:

jevprejevents_month.calendar

Set to show on all pages.

And you have your custom text only on the event monthly calendar.

Your point of view read the lines, invalidates SEO practices. Where the menu item / section should be H1 and the event title should be H2.

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tonyp

I have a similar question:
Is there a position for jevpretoolbar Date range? My menu item for landing page is Date range (7 days from today) and I would like to post some instruction just in that page.

Thanks
