Can someone help me on how to modify the .php or .xml file on how the Latest Events are displayed.

I have a box on the right margin to list all the upcoming events. At present the Upcoming Events list gets displayed using<strong> tags</strong>.

Right now each item is displayed in each row. ie. Title in one row, date in the next row, details the next row and so on. I like to have some of those fields side by side... For that I need to add more in each row and move those objects in to the tags or I have to convert them to tags and have the tags float to left. But I can't figure out which module has the code and how I can change the tags to tags.

In both cases, I need to modify the underlying code. If someone can help me figure that out, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi rpacdn,
in the module configuration you can choose how you want the module to display events. With that and a bit of CSS you should be able to get what you need. Have you noticed those fields in module configuration area?

No unfortunately I have not. I still don't know which module contains the <table> tags that form the listing of the Upcoming events? Also I see in the browser that those items are wrapped in <td><tr> tags. So adding CSS <div> is really not going to help to stack them side by side unless I change the table structure completely.

If you can provide a sample, that would be greatly helpful. I am trying to get a look something similar to the attached sample.

Thank you,

Can you provide a link? The table is the Iconic latest events module layout.

Many thanks

You need a link to the site where I found that sample table or to my website? Can I send it as a private message directly to you as i would prefer not to post it here.

Thank you. Is that a free layout plugin or paid? I thought it would be free given that JEvents has a free version.

Secondly, is it possible to default to YEAR View in the summary Calendar view page as opposed to by MONTH?

Also when I click on the details Calendar page where it is defaulting to MONTH, I am always getting the following message.

"Message
Sorry - this event cannot be viewed using the link provided. Its possible the item may have been updated while you have been viewing the webpage"

JEvents is a free (as in beer and in speech) extension, but we also have JEvents Club where we offer addons to our Club Members. Iconic Theme is a Club Theme so it is only availlable to Silver and Gold Members of JEvents Club. Come and join us!! : https://www.jevents.net/join-the-club/levels

You just need to choose the year list view instead of the monthly view for your menu item ;)

<em>"Message

You need to create a JEvents menu item (probably year list ) and in the module settings configure the " Target Menu Item" option to point to that menu item.

Best!!
