Hi there,
Before I plunge in could someone please tell me if J-Events will be suitable for a church diary of events.

We do NOT need attendees to register or pay. In most cases the events are Bible Studies or Worship services and we do not want to track attendees.... All we want to do is track the preachers who are preaching at the various churches and provide a diary so church members can see who is preaching where and when.

Can J-Events do this easily?

Kind regards,

Tony Robson

Hello Tony,

JEvents is perfect for your needs. Infact a lot of our users are Churches :).

You can use the JEvents Free version in fact, if you want some other features you can look at joining the Silver club at a later date.

Thanks
Tony

Thanks for the swift response Tony.

Just one more question please..... Can we have separate "cascading" diaries? Something like Central Office and Church 1, Church 2, Church 3. We create an entry at central office where preacher A is at Church 1 on Tuesday, Preacher B at Church 2 and Preacher C at church 3 on Wednesday.... Can we "cascade or disseminate" these "events" to individual diaries for churches 1, 2 & 3?

Thus Church 2, for example, opens their diary and - hey presto, they see Preacher B is doing a series of Bible Studies on Tuesdays? Church 3 opens their diary and they see Preacher C is doing a series on Wednesdays?

Glad to hear other churches are using the program. Maybe I will be able to get some help from them in the forums in future? :-)

Thanks again and kind regards,

Tony Robson

Hello Tony,

Yes you could by using Categories. So just Separate them by categories. Then you can filter your events based on categories within the menu items.

The forums are always here :).

Thanks
Tony
