Cannot trash a jevents category using JEvents 3.6.46 on Joomla 3.10.11 using PHP 8.0.26

I can unpublish the category, but when I try to trash I get error:

It seemed there were some past trashed events in the category I was trying to remove which I needed to empty trash on first. This then avoided the problem code which was in the process of forming the error message for this situation.

Sorry for the poor level of support over the year end. Holidays and being ill is not a good combination :(
