Cannot edit events since update to 3.4.13

When I click on the pen icon to edit an event, the screen dims, but no dialogue box appears. here is the support information:

Then I'm not sure what we can do I'm afraid since it works with the official Joomla! Theme.

Hello,

I would suggest updating to the latest version of JEvents firstly.

Then make sure you Joomla! template included the Joomla! 3.x framework:



JHtml::_('jquery.framework');


If this is not in your template index.php file then add it and see how you get on.

reverted to a previous version, and the problem persists. so i tried a different template, and the popup works
however, Jevents has worked previously in the current template, so i am thinking it's related to site repairs from a hack. any idea what files i should look at to fix Jevents?

thank you very much, Tony. So, installing this previous version will automatically revert from the later version? is there nothing more that i need to do?

Hello,

You should be able to restore your site to a previous backup. Failing to have taken one, you can re-install a previous version yes. See:

Hello,

Firstly you need to upgrade to Joomla! 3.4.8 or 3.5.1 immediately.

Also SH404 is very out of date, this is now on 4.7 and so is Community Builder, that is now on V 2.0.14.

Next can you try it with the standard Joomla! Template does it work then? If so, it's likely your template isn't handling jQuery / mootools correctly.
