I'd like to create 2 different calendars in JEvents, each with their own set of categories so that you can't add events in one calendar to categories of the other. I'd also like to make the categories of one calendar publicly accessible and the categories of the other calendar restricted to specific joomla users.

If this is possible, what features (and subscription) would I need?

Hello,

Our calendars are basically feeds so you can't have individual access. But you can filter and constrain people on the front end to not see the other calendar.

Although we usually recommend using Categories and Sub-Categories for this, at which you can control access level for all then.

Furthermore if you use categories its completely free :).

Thanks
Tony
