Hi,

I have been searching up on J events and like it quite a bit on what i see.

I got a few questions, if any of these are possible (in paid plugins)

1) Is there a way to see if user attended a event and it is assigned to their username/account. Also it counts how many hours the user was there for.

2) Host approves that a user attended an event.

Hello.

This is Rich, the owner of DTH Development. Wendy posted a comment about our product that was totally inaccurate. Our product, DT Register doesn't inject any code or alter any programs when installed or used. At some point, Wendy had some malware installed on her system not caused by DT Register but by some other program. The owner of Mosets told Wendy that DT Register must have an issue and so she has decided to spread the inaccurate information. I have sent a copy of our product to Lee at Mosets proving that the product doesn't inject code and hopefully Wendy will quit spreading inaccurate information.

Best Regards,
Rich

Hi Mushi

the best information is in the demo videos (bottom of this page http://www.jevents.net/jevents-club/demo-videos), these articles (http://www.jevents.net/products/attenda ... -reminders) and answers to your questions in this forum.

If after trying out the gold member addons for a couple of weeks thy don't do what you need then you can request a refund and cancelling your membership by sending me a PM here in this forum

Thank you for this information.
My New web developer and I will be meeting in mid April and we'll review and look at how we can move forward with the Club version.
Thanks again for being so quick to respond.

PHP 5.2 or greater - a recent version of 5.3 is recommended.

Thank you for your quick reply
We use Mosets Tree as our Directory Listing (nothing to do with events). We had an issue with DT Register 'injecting' a code into Mosets Tree on last few upgrades that took people from the Categorie listings to a DT Register Event listing on our Site (a list of all our events) instead of to a business who would have been listed under that category. Mosets Tree found that issue and I have passed it onto DT Register, however, we are not being successful with the program. There is also a PHP issue - Execution Time -with DT Register... so once you enter registration the info it just hangs and then eventually times out, so it doesn't complete. What are your PHP requirements, etc. for your product. Thanks for all you help.

Is JEvents any club member level - compatible with Mosets Tree? (I couldn't see where to send you a Question, so selected quote to access you here. Maybe you can help me with that as well. thank you Wendy

There is no incompatability - i.e. JEvents and the club addons will run on the same site as Mosets Tree.

Are you asking for more than that - i.e. that you can select a Mosets listing from an event and then show info about the listing in your event detail and vice versa?

We have done this with SobiPro, K2 and EasyBlog so this should be feasible.

["Geraint"]With RSVP Pro (Gold member addon) you can create registration forms where the event organiser has to approve the registration and also where the organiser can record the actual attendance at the event.

At present there are no user by user reports of attendance by hour but you can view a list of events the user registered for.

Hello Sohaib,

You will have download access for 12 months. And you can continue using it on your site after that 12 months but you cannot download any new versions.

Tony

Hi thanks for your help.

If we were to join the gold club, will we have access to RSVP pro for ever or just 12 months? (instructions are strange).

As I work for a non-profit we have limited funding can you please provide information about gold in a email (to email address registered on this forum) so i can purchase gold.

It would be a matter of doing an override of the attendee list layout to include an input field next to the 'didattend' flag and then modify the database record to make the field a bit 'larger' and then a modification to the query that updates the 'didattend' field to pick up the value in the input field.

It might not be that difficult and I could give you pointers in the gold member forum

that will need custom coding I'm afraid - its not something we have been asked for before now.

The issue is

Volunteer A: Spends 3 hours (host approves it).

Volunteer B: Spends 4 hours, but tells us he spent 5. We need the host to double check the person is giving the right hours.

Ideally a system where there is a default number (which host can change) for each person in attendance and host can approve it and change hours present if need be.

In the spreadsheet you would add a simple formula e.g.
(endtime-startime)*actual attendance = attendance time

but each member will spend different times at event.

(events are where volunteers come and help, some for 5 hours some for 3 hours).

RSVP Pro incorporates a CSV export from which you could calculate the hours attended by each attendee - would that be enough?

You can manage attendees in the frontend too.

The hours attended could possibly be done as a code modification - how are your PHP skills?
