Hello, I recently downloaded this calendar plugin and am trying to get it to work with my Joomla 3x website.

So far I've successfully downloaded and installed the files and configured them. I think created categories and added events to them, then assigned those categories to the calendar.

However, when I tried to create a menu item for the calendar, I receive an error stating "0 | Sorry but the page cannot be found!" which is accompanied by a white page.

When I created the menu item, I selected JEvents-Core as the menu item type then selected View by Month. I also tried the other options listed and they all produce this white screen and error message.

Why is this happening?

I have fixed this on your site - there was a module with invalid parameters stored in the database. I added an additional check on the JEvents script that was trying to check these parameters for filtering values to avoid the problem.

p.s. Once you have done your tests you may find one of the club themes for the calendar could work well with your template/site (see https://www.jevents.net/products-new/addons/club-layouts) - they have more customisation options out of the box.

Hello,

That's a strange one. Can you enable Joomla! Debug mode in the Joomla! Global Config and set error reporting to maximum? Do you see any more error information on the page you were getting 0?

Can you also provide your JEvents Support info from the JEvents Backend?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the assistance. I just put my website into debug mode in the system tab then enabled maximum error reporting on the server tab of global config.

However, when I then went to my website's frontend to try and view the calendar page, I still get the same blank white page. Nothing shows on up on the page, not even the debug console at the bottom; it's just a white screen.

Here is my support info:

Hello,

What happens if you use the Joomla! Protostar template?

Can you check for an error_log in the root directory of your website?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi again,

I switched the calendar page to the Protostar template and this time I was able to see some of the error details. I won't be able to log into FTP until later tonight, but in the meantime, here is the debug report generated by the page:

Hello,

Ok so that is an issue decoing json. Does this also happen on non-jevents pages?

Can you save the JEvents config in the backend on Joomla?!

Many thanks
Tony

So far it only seems to be happening with the calendar JEvent menu item that I created. I don't see the error anywhere else on my website.

I went into the administrator section of JEvents and was able to click the save button with no problems. Joomla reads "JEvents configuration saved successfully".

Great, thank you very much. I will check out your link to the club themes and try to purchase one of them.
