Event Notifications

This Club addon is designed to allow you to send notification emails to your site users when new events are created or events/repeats are modified and also to send notifications of unpublished events.

Note that notifications of deleted events are not possible without big changes to JEvents so you should encourage your users to unpublish events rather than delete them.

  • Send email notifications to the users of your site whenever an event is: Created, published, unpublished or modified.
  • Choose which users groups sends notification to for each action
  • Configure different notifications messages for each action
  • Configure a little email queue for sending the notification emails
  • A Module to allow users to select which categories they want to receive notifications from.
  • To enable automatic mail queue processing you need a cronjob tool
  • To allow users to select which categories they want to receive notifications from you need to install and enable the Notifications Module (Available in the events notification downloads page).

For Joomla! 2.5 and up, please use the 3.x Version making sure you are using JEvents 3.x.
Joomla! 1.5 versions are no longer supported.
