I'm currently working with a very old system, which I inherited from another programmer (Joomla 1.5.15) with a corresponding old version of JEvents. I'm in the process of upgrading to the latest Joomla, and have been able to migrate old events to the new version, without any problem. The old system also used JEV locations, and managed users. I believe, I'll have to subscribe to grab the latest version of these, but I wanted to check to see if the following scenario works with the latest version of JEvents.
Scenario:
[list=1][*] Event creator creates an event. Event is tied to a managed location, and has a duration period tied to it (E.g., 2 hours). Event is also categorized.[/*:m]
[*] Users sign up for the event by selecting a checkbox stating their intention to attend the event.[/*:m]
[*] After event completes, the signed-up user gets the hours tied to the event added to the event category, specifically for them.
[For example, I choose to attend an event that is 2 hours long at
location x and is categorized as
category A. When the event completes, in my user profile, I will now have 2 hours added to category A for me, to indicate that I had attended that event. The hours in category A are accumulated at the end of the year to indicate how many hours I spent in category A events.][/*:m][/list

]
The current system I am using employs this scenario, but I'm not 100% sure if it was all JEvents - I'm hoping the current version of JEvents, and associated modules, can do this.
Please let me know if this is possible, and which subscription I would require to purchase to acquire the appropriate modules.
