Request on a price to get a plugin for Jevents so we can use it with the Swedish Tax system, that is very specific.

We need to have 4 extra fields in events, custom fields, emails and export.

The fields should be:

Tax %: 0, 6, 12 or 25
Tax6: Calculate the tax from the value * tax % (100$ * 0.056603774 = 5.66$ Tax)
Tax12: Calculate the tax from the value * tax % (100$ * 0.107142857 = 10.71$ Tax)
Tax25: Calculate the tax from the value * tax % (100$ * 0.20 = 20$ Tax)

The tax should not change the value in event or custom fields. We just need to calculate how much the tax is of the full amount the client pay.

The invoice/email should have a field next to the item, that state what tax% is being paid. And then under the full amount it should show the combined amount of tax being paid from the fields: Tax6, Tax12 and Tax25.

In the CSV export we need to have the 4 extra fields added under each item, so we can see what each client paid in tax 6, 12 and 25.

Thanks

We support hidden coupon codes (mainly for early bird discounts) which can apply a percentage discount/premium to the totals payable - it may be possible to adapt this to support your tax calculation requirements.

Does RSVP Pro support your other requiements? It may be an idea to join the club and take a closer look and if it doesn't do what you need you can request a refund. I can then discuss your tax requirements in more detail - I would anticipate the code of your required customisation would be between £100-£150 (EUR 125-185).

Thanks for your fast response Geraint.

I think the RSVP Pro meet most of out other demands. We would need the Tax system to work at the same time as the coupon codes.

A price of 100-150 pounds is in our budget for this project.

Do you do many custom modification to RSVP pro normally, and was is a general turn around time? 2-4 weeks, or 2-3 month?

Thanks

I would anticipate it could be done within 4-5 weeks

I assume the customer selects the tax rate that applies to themselves?

No in Sweden we run with 3 level of tax 6% - 12% or 25% depending on if its a course, food or room people is paying.

So the tax would have to be set when the custom field is added.

Best way to explain it would be to show an invoice idea:

Food (6%): 20$
Room (25%): 100$
Event (12%): 50$

Total (Including tax): 170$

Tax 6%: 1.13$ (20 * 0.056603774)
Tax 12%: 5.36$ (50 * 0.107142857)
Tax 25%: 20$ (100 * 0.20)
Total Tax: 26.49$

So your event configuration might have 3 fixed fees for and event representing the contribution of the 3 elements to ticket price of an event?

Also you are implying that that tax calculation from the customer's point of view is informational only since the ticket price includes the tax already?

Will you want variable fees too e.g. where the food is optional or you book a room for a selectable number of people? The better I understand the type of events you need to support the better.

Yes each event and custom field will have the basic value plus 3 extra.

The 3 extra will not change the basic value, but will simply be used for information for the client, and for us to pay taxes, so it have to be a part of the CSV export.

Most of our event will look maybe something like this:

Event (Price: Adult 100$ - Child 50$) (6% tax)

Option for food: (1 day 100$ - 2 days 200$) (25% tax)

Room (Single 100$ - double 200$) (12% tax)

Each field, event, food or room, can vary in option and amount of options, they also have different tax that we need to set for each field.

Its not always that the extra is food and rooms, so we need to be able to give each field and the options names.

Hope this is more clear.

Thanks

The optional prices (adult/child etc.) makes this a LOT more complex than I had envisaged, as does the 3 separate elements in the same event with different tax rates.

It IS already possible to have conditional fields based on yes/no questions so you could have a question - 'Do you want an adult ticket?' with 2 separate flat fees conditional on this being yes - a flat fee field of 94.34 and a tax field of 5.66. In other words the overall total would be shown including the tax but the line items would show all the separate elements i.e. fee and tax separately.

Hi Geraint

Sorry for the late answer, been a rush at the office.

https://dinkurs.se/appliance/?event_id=25839

Above is a form that we are using today.

Our idea is to have a main price. And then + or - the price depending on what people pick in the drop down menus. The main event would have one type of tax level, and each menu will have its own, or 0%.

So in the back back-end when you add the extra drop downs it should ask what the tax would be. And then also ask for the tax on the basic event price.

We would like this to be a plugin to the main event component, so we could still update the main event without running into big problems.

If you could give me a price idea, what ball range we are playing in for something that will meet our needs for the Swedish Tax System.

Thanks

Henning

The optional prices (adult/child etc.) makes this a LOT more complex than I had envisaged, as does the 3 separate elements in the same event with different tax rates.

This complexity will make the custom work very expensive and I'm not completely sure we have the time/resources to implement this for you.

It IS already possible to have conditional fields based on yes/no questions so you could have a question - 'Do you want an adult ticket?' with 2 separate flat fees conditional on this being yes - a flat fee field of 94.34 and a tax field of 5.66. Did you consider this approach?
