Hi Guys,

I have recently had feedback from Apple users saying that an RSVP template is not working when a select list is employed.

I seem to recall a few years ago (Can't find it now!) feedback that indicated that it was best to create an option which asked people to "select an option" giving a £0 value to the total so that the positive action of selecting another "proper" option forced recognition of the "required" status for this field.

(The "failure" alluded to above was the error message "please make a selection" even though one was (pre..) selected.

Could you clarify exactly how this works when this field is an is not "required" so that I may check all my templates?

Hello,

You would need to make the select list that is required have the default option of say 'Please Select'.

If you still have issues can you provide a link for us to test?

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Many thanks for your response...

I thought I remembered something of this but for the live of me could not find it anywhere - thanks for clarifying. I will introduce the amendment on those templates that require it and then keep in view....

Thank you for your support... we can now consider this ticket closed.
