Hi,
i get the following error during updating JEvents from version 3.4.25 up to 3.4.27:
Warning:
Invalid default value for 'modified' SQL=ALTER TABLE #__jevents_vevdetail modify extra_info text NOT NULL

Joomla!-Version: Joomla! 3.6.5 Stable [ Noether ] 1-December-2016 22:46 GMT
PHP-Version 5.6.29
mysql 5.1.73

What's the Problem ?

Problem also occurs when trying to update 3.4.25 -> 3.4.28 ( joomla 3.6.5 )

Hello,

thank you! If you install again it will fix it but as of JEvents 3.4.29 this SQL error will not occur again carlos finally fathomed out the cause yesterday since both Geraint and myself couldn't replicate it on our own installs.

Had the same issue:


Invalid default value for 'created' SQL=Alter table #__jevents_icsfile MODIFY COLUMN srcURL varchar(500) NOT NULL default '' Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: com_jevents.zip


Installing the upgrade twice solved it. Thx for your posts. :)

No problem, this is fixed in V3.4.29 out yesterday :-).
