Repeating events - large number

I have a number of weekly repeating events and every year I have to add another year to each event to roll them over.

What impact on resources would there be to change to event count set at 9999.

The downside is that web crawlers will visit your site more often and increase your cache size and server load.

Why not create 2-3 years of repeats in one go rather than 1?

Thanks for the reply, yes that's what I have been doing, but I have a radio station with loads of events..

Is there any way of bulk changing the end date of repeating events?
