Registration from a list of users

How do your link your teams to your captains? are they all Joomla users? do you use a user management plugin?

OR does the captain simply maintain a list of users in a Joomla user profile custom field?

Thanks to take care of my problem.
I'm using Community Builder for Captains players lists and accesses.
Players are all registered Users in CB
Each team is a specified group of players gathered in a specific user list
Each Captain as only access to his players group
Each event (competition) is open to several teams ( lists of users)

When all players are registered to an event, i also would like to export a CSV/Excel File with all player fields

Do you think this dev is possible ?
I would be very interested to use Jevents for that

We could create a new custom field to offer a multi-select of members of a group - accessible only to the group owner/administrator.

BUT this would not be the same as signing up the actual users to an event and the actual users wouldn't be informed that they are attending unless they view the event page to see the list of selected players

Would that work for you?

This would work for me except that i absolutly need to extract the ALL atendees list (CSV or PDF ) to send it to the sports club receiving the tour . ( I.e golf club)
And also be able to send a multi adresses mail to the players selected
So, if you think this will be simple, let me know

It MAY be possible to present the list of selected attendees as a multi-address mailto field so the message could be sent by clicking this field. I know its not ideal but I'm trying to think of something that is fairly straightforward to implement

This site was given to me and runs under Wordpress.It is quite old ( scripts made in 2005 !) and impossible to update with new php versions. As i'm not able to write new scripts, so i would like to create a brand new one under joomla but with the same functions and features.

Did you understand what I meant by this? When the event creator/administrator looks at the list of attendees then for each 'group' of participants they would have a link to allow them to send an email from their email package - it wouldn't be sent from the website. Would that work?

If you want the website to send the notification message to the group participants then this would require more complex custom coding and I would need to charge you for this work.
