Hi Tony,

I would like new events added on the front end by users to be visible immediately on the monthly calendar (I am Gold subscriber using JEvents and Managed People). But at the moment I need to publish them in the back end to make them visible - is there something I am missing? I would either like them to be published automatically, or for the calendar to display unpublished events.

I am on deadline today so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Gareth

Hello,

You have either removed the published state from the event edit form. Or you have as super user do not have permissions to publish events.

Are you a using JEvents Authorised User Mode?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Gareth,

You should login to your club account when looking for club support for future reference.

But this is normal support :-) Yep you need to set users are allowed to publish own, once they are allowed they are published by default.

Many thanks
Tony

I have the same issue as mentioned above, the Admins/Publishers HAVE permission to publish their own events, but even myself, as Super User, when I create a new event in the front it does NOT publish the event. What am I missing?
Thanks.

Thanks, that was it. The "EVENTSTATE:STATE" fixed it. Strange that it defaults to Published, but if it's not there, it defaults to unpublished. Thank you!
