Hi there I am using JEvents on a website I am building, where I need different groups of users to be able to edit and add to different categories of the calendar and Only that category. Is there any way of doing this with the free version of JEvents?

Hello,

Yes you can. If you go to JEvents Configuration -> Permissions

Make sure: Joomla ACL Event Creation Permissions Approach is set to:

Allow event creation overall and deny by specific category

Then in the categories disallow creation for the user groups you do not want to allow to create events within it.

Many thanks
Tony
